Subscription Setup

I want to set up multiple subscriptions for the software I'm selling. One level they will have access to one category of downloads (Copper). Higher up they will have access to two categories of downloads (Copper and Silver.) Then on the final subscription, they'll have access to all three categories of downloads (Copper, Silver, Gold.) Now is it possible to do this, I have SimpleCart if that makes a difference. Basically I want 3 categories of downloads, which I know how to do, and set permissions on each category so that only a specific user group can access it. Then I want to set the subscriptions up so that once payment goes through Paypal, they automatically get put into whatever user group they purchased. Basically I want something very similar to vBulletins subscription system.

How much driving experience is needed before going on a roadtrip?
I am getting my driver's license in a month or two. I would love to have a roadtrip across the states this upcoming June or August, but I don't know how likely that can be with such limited driving experience. I'd like to travel from southern California to somewhere in the east coast.. Maybe Main or Vermont.
