Hi,
I've visited your site many times over the last several months or so, but never got around to registering til now. I own a number of sites, my main ones being:
CMS-Install
Gamers R Fun
Nuke Listings
I have been in the Nuke community for maybe 5 years, under various aliases. Have also used most of the various different types of Nuke and its off-shoots. But currently have decided to come back to Nuke Evo, especially as Technocrat is constantly updating it. Whereas Platinum hasn't really been changed for some time |

Greetings DemoniC and welcome to the forums! We are glad to have talented folks here (makes it more interesting that way). I believe I can say that, judging by your experience and resume. Any help or input, please advise. I like Nuke-Evolution as well and have great respect for Technocrat (although the forums there could use some serious pruning and shortening of the glance mod number of topic/news displays).
Anyways, we always have the product (Nuke-Evolution) and can bring it back here and develop useful mods for that platform. Personally, I will always stay with base line PHP-Nuke. Why? I will never be burnt again like I was from the PHP-Nuke Platinum fiasco. But, much like yourself I love playing with Nuke-Evolution and seeing where we can go with it. Anything I develop here will always be native PHP-Nuke first, that is my insurance for continued support with a little bit more continuity thrown in and most importantly staying relevant to better serve the community.
Regards,

Yeah I can see where you're coming from. Personally I wouldn't go back to the basic Nuke, there is just way too much work... setting up loads of mods, security etc etc. Yeah I guess a bit of pruning wouldn't hurt LOL
I can do some basic coding, but not much. Over the years I've made a few simple blocks, that are still out there on a few sites, and recently I altered the Clan Recruitment module to became a work request module. That was before I found out Evo had a Members Application module in its supplementary folder, but in the end I kept the one I modded. To see how I changed things, Click Here To See The Request_Form |

Very nice indeed! I had been thinking of taking my SimpleCart for Nuke-Evolution and seeing how the majority of users having been using it for services, convert the comments form I have integrated into something more like you fine product. maybe we can do a joint venture. i am putting SimpleCart for Nuke-Evolution back on the coding block here soon to make some changes from user input on the forums and clean up the functionality a bit. A pleasure chatting with you my friend
Regards,

Sounds like a nice idea. Originally I did try to use SimpleCart but gave up on it. If I remember correctly, I kept getting errors and I was also getting a bit confused with it - Not that hard, with this OLD FART !!
As you can see, I am not using SimpleCart for that site, but REALVirtualStore. It pretty much worked straight away with Evo, although I did have one or two small issues with it. Technocrat fixed these for me too. He also said something about the security of it was pre-something or other, I forget what exactly LOL, but he fixed that too. |

Thanks Frazer, the sites have taken a while to construct, especially the cms-install... I've added 14 demo sites there, although I still need to configure a few of them.
Yeah I love that avatar too. I was using a few other ones but they weren't quite demonic enough LOL. So I did a google image search for "horror" pics. I found that one on a site that had lots of demon type images etc. Its supposed to be a werewolf, believe it or not |

LOL yeah I did wonder if that was your good self. Some peeps do use themselves as avatars.
I wish my hair would look like yours. I have long dark hair too, but because I have wayyyyyyyy too much natural volume in my hair, so unless I wax/gel it down then it looks like, what I call, "a white man's afro" LOL. Plus I have to keep it tied back as well - its so frustrating |

lol it certainly looks that way HAHAHA
A bit more about me; my sense of humour is quite alternative, maybe as much as perverse at times, even downright outrageous lol. There again, what else would you expect from a Brit
