Good evening from Greece.
Recently i upgared from 7.0 to 7.9 . In many Topics i had images and i had not problems with 7.0 . Using 7.9 it's impossible to view them. I can see images in Forum, Sections etc. In Topics i use html format.
Try the latest 7.9 intall. I had the same issues until I updated. Some members sigs/ pages and news articles would not load images, even though they were there in the link properties. Just another 7.9 bug that initially didn't exist, then it did with a patch, then it didn't again!
Sorry to bump this thread...
I have used phpNuke 7.9-3.2 patched for some time on my homepage.
Since I was not able to get pictures to be shown when i wrote articles, I was directed to this page, and the download of PHP-Nuke-7.9.0.3.2a.zip, which I understood that would help me correct the errors with images notshowing.
I uploaded this new 7.9 to my homepage server, but I am not able to watch pictures in my articles yet. There has been one improvement though, I am able to see the picture in the body text when I edit the article, and I am able to se the size of the image in the article text.
I use the correct formating for the image: <img>
If you would like to take a look at one article with images in, I would be very happy. It is one article at this page:
My article
I have noe clue to what I should bee looking for..
Are you sure that the address your image is located on your server is the same address you have in your <img> code? Everything looks correct except no image location is specified (as near as I can tell).
The same goes for your topic icon, it's properties are http://fagskole.eu/images/topics/ but that's only pointing to the folder and not to the actual image located within. _________________ Lifesupporters.com
Thank you for your answer.
Yes, I am sure that I have the adress correct. I used the whole adress, in a tag like this:
Code:
<img>
I am able to open that file directly in the browser, so I do not understand why it is not showing up in the article. As I mentioned, if I choose to edit the article, the image is shown in the editor...
I really do not understand it...
Will look at the topic icon tomorrow morning, having a final exam tomorrow, so no more web-editing og surfing today... He he he
I uploaded the new content from your zip file.
After this upgrade, I did try to edit the text, and insert the image tag again. The article came up with the full image tag, with an x in it, after img xsrc=..
I went back to edit the text, and in the editor, the picture was visible again.
I removed the picture, and used the "insert picture" from TinyMCE. That actually helped, the picture is visible. I do not know why it is not visible, when I manually insert the html tag, but as long as it is working with TinyMCE, it should not be any problem, I just have to use my mouse to click some buttons..

My Pleasure "Stay Tuned"...releasing PHP-Nuke 7.9.0.3.2e, with fully tweaked TinyMCE (still a few functions not working as prescribed, any assistance would be appreciated)
